On October 11, many Tunisian women and men living in France took part in the feminist march through the avenues of Paris, carrying high the colors of international solidarity and showing their support for the struggle of women around the world, and particularly for Tunisian women political prisoners. This mobilization underlines the fact that demands for women's rights transcend geographical borders. A feminist march for freedom, sisterhood, equality and international solidarity, with one slogan: "As soon as one woman is attacked, all women are attacked".
By joining the demonstrators in Paris, the Tunisian diaspora demonstrated its concrete commitment to universal struggles for the freedom and rights of women, especially those persecuted, prosecuted or imprisoned for their ideas and commitment to public life.
In calling for their liberation, they established an inseparable link between the defense of women's rights and the quest for true democracy, inviting every citizen to respond to this dual call: that of an egalitarian society and that of a state guaranteeing freedom of expression and justice for all.
