The CRLDHT pays tribute to Fati Dasso and her daughter Marie, aged 6, who tragically died of thirst in the Libyan desert on July 19, 2023. Their journey to escape violence and discrimination came to a tragic end, reminding us of the horror experienced by so many refugees. We must never forget their story, and must continue to fight for justice and dignity for all. The authorities must be held accountable for the safety and rights of migrants.
