The CRLDHT took an active part in the organization of a session of the Permanent Peoples' Tribunal (TPP) devoted to immigration, on January 4 and 5, at the CICP, 21 ter rue Voltaire - 75011 PARIS. Following the success of this initiative, it has been proposed to organize a session in Tunisia.
A TPP preparatory seminar on migration issues in the Maghreb region was held in Tunis, at the invitation of the Tunisian Forum for Economic and Social Rights. The seminar was attended by members of the TPP secretariat and representatives of Maghreb and immigration associations and organizations. The TPP is a court of opinion that acts independently of States, responding to the demands of communities and peoples whose rights have been violated. Its foundations are based on the Algiers Declaration (Universal Declaration of the Rights of Peoples, July 4, 1976), among others
